School Enrolment Management Plan
A
School Enrolment Management Plan is a legislative instrument outlined
in the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 (Qld) (the Act). It
states the school's catchment area, capacity and requirements for
enrolment. Foxwell State Secondary College recognises as its prime
obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational
service for students whose principal place of residence is within the
school's catchment area.
Because of enrolment capacity and predicted growth our College may be
unable to meet this obligation in the future, unless action is taken to
manage enrolments. The Principal must restrict the enrolment of
out-of-catchment students to ensure in-catchment students can enrol at
their local state school.
In-catchment enrolment process
To enrol your child as an in-catchment enrolment for 2025, please complete our Enrolment Expression of Interest. It is essential that you also supply all requested supporting documentation listed on the Enrolment Checklist with each enrolment application. Please submit your student's completed Enrolment Application Form and supporting documentation via email to enrolments@foxwellssc.eq.edu.au
Once your application has been processed you will be contacted regarding an Enrolment Interview for you and your child.

Out-of-catchment enrolment application process
Our Programs of Excellence
Students may apply for enrolment out of catchment if they satisfy the school’s criteria for placement in a Program of
Excellence and the defined number of places has not been filled by
in-catchment enrolments.

Waiting list
A
waiting list is available at the College for students who do not meet
the enrolment criteria. If and when spare capacity becomes available,
out-of-catchment enrolments may be accepted from the waiting list in the
order of receipt.
Waiting lists are only active from when enrolment applications open for the following year and until the end of the
current school year.
