MSM20216 – Certificate II in Manufacturing Technology

Overview: Hands‑on learning in manufacturing processes using wood, metal, plastics, textiles. Provider: Foxwell SSC

Duration: 2 years (Years 11–12)

Fees: VETiS‑funded or fee‑for‑service

Pathway Information: This qualification appeals to students who enjoy working with tools, creating products, or solving practical problems. Graduates may enter manufacturing or engineering support roles such as workshop assistant, production line operator or fabrication assistant. Many students continue to TAFE qualifications like Certificate III in Engineering, Certificate III in Manufacturing or trade apprenticeships (e.g., fitting and turning, metal fabrication). It also forms a foundation for future engineering or industrial design studies at university.
