Pathway Information: This qualification suits students who enjoy customer service, travel, and working with people from diverse backgrounds. Graduates can explore roles such as tourism assistant, visitor information officer, or hospitality team member. Future study pathways include Certificate III in Tourism, Certificate III in Hospitality, and related TAFE courses. For those who continue through to university, options may include tourism management, business or event management degrees.

Elective Units:

  • SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • SITHFAB025 – Prepare and serve espresso coffee (must complete SITXFSA005 first)
